Our household was hit with the flu and it wiped us out good. I’m finally on the other side with enough energy to go through my wellness routine for the family this week:

  • Open up windows to ventilate house and light non-scented candle ritual since my asthma is sensitive

  • Disinfect errrrverything with Force of Nature (referral link)

  • Immunity juice shot recipe

  • All the soups - currently loving this plant based noodle soup and mushroom congee using instant pot porridge setting

  • Maybe fold mountain of laundry (hot temp to sanitize)

  • Parents, don’t forget to shower. I never understood this before kids but it’s true. You can’t remember what day it is, let alone the last time you had a moment to shower. Brutal marathon I tell ya.

  • Go for a walk outside. Nothing like being out in nature to feel human again.

The house may never be tidy but I’m definitely sanitizing the ick out for a speedy physical and mental recovery.
